Bank of America Customized Cash Rewards credit card

The Customized Cash Rewards is Bank of America's flexible everyday cash back card, and its hook is choice: you pick the category that earns 3%, from gas, online shopping, dining, travel, drug stores, or home improvement, and can change it once a month. It adds 2% at grocery stores and wholesale clubs, with the 3% and 2% rates applying to the first $2,500 in combined purchases each quarter before dropping to 1%. There is no annual fee, and Bank of America customers who join the BofA Rewards program earn a bonus on every credit card purchase, which is where this card goes from good to genuinely competitive.
