Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card

The Venture X is Capital One's answer to the Sapphire Reserve and Amex Platinum, a metal $395 travel card that earns 2x miles flat on everything, plus 10x on hotels and 5x on flights when booked through Capital One Travel. A $300 annual travel credit and a 10,000-mile anniversary bonus bring the effective fee to roughly $95 a year for someone who actually uses the portal, the lowest premium-travel net of the big three. The lounge story was once the headline draw, but Capital One ended free guest access in early 2025, so today the card suits a solo traveler best.
